Opentherm Wireless Boiler Control Thermostat
Compared with traditional thermostat to control boiler on/off, the ability to have more efficient control of the boiler via OpenTherm is a newly development. OpenTherm is a communication standard that allows thermostats to speak to the boiler and control the temperature of the water.
OpenTherm allows the thermostat to adjust the boiler’s water temperature setpoint (the ‘Control Setpoint’). This, therefore, allows the thermostat to heat up a room to the set temperature and keep it there.
Thermostat Functions:
1. WIFI remote control: works with “ TuyaSmart” or “Smart Life” app and makes it possible to remotely control your thermostat from anywhere with an internet connection
2. Voice control: works with Amazon and Google assistant and make it possible to control your thermostat via your voice
3. Geofencing control: use your smartphone’s location to automatically adjust your thermostat
4. Weekly programmable: 7 days 4 periods programmable
5. Child Lock: Lock the buttons to avoid unresonable operation
6. Open Window Detection: Auto shut off boiler when detect window open to save energy
7. Online Troubleshooting: Boiler errors can be identified from OpenTherm error code on app
